Women gathered to paint self-portraits, reflect on their inner narrative, and crown themselves the main character of their own story. An afternoon of candles, color, guided journaling, and sisterhood — where every brushstroke was an act of self-love.
"gia is a pakistani-born, USA-raised artist and mama, and she led us through a workshop where she traced a picture of us onto a canvas, gave us prompts to think about before painting, and finally colors to paint the emotions we felt onto the canvas. it was beautifulllll and therapeutic to connect with women and learn about their stories of womanhood and all the ways we've found identity through meaningful connection 💓 it was a reminder that intentional community care is everyrhinggg 🤍"
